What is TASC?

The Assessment Service Centre (TASC) is a provider of occupational skills training and competence-assessment to the Project Control Industry. It is approved by the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board for competence assessment and actively supports the government`s National Occupational Standards Council.

Where did it come from?

TASC was formed by the Association of Cost Engineers, is an integral part of the Association and is committed to the development and maintenance of professional and occupational standards.

Where does it operate?

Based in the UK, TASC operates internationally through its network of assessors and trainers. Its parent company, ACostE, is affiliated to associated professional bodies such as IChemE, IMechE and the International Cost Engineering Council, thereby offering TASC and its` candidates, world-wide industry recognition.

Why is it better than it's competitors?

All its assessors and trainers are either academically qualified or have undergone extensive experience and have all held or still hold senior positions in the Project Controls industry. It operates world-wide by utilising where applicable, secure internet-based communication systems.
